OVERVIEW 

The Resources and Partner Manager is empowered as a key strategic team member at Curious Plot. This role manages resourcing assignments across functional and project management teams for all incoming opportunities and active projects to ensure staffing and service needs are proactively met or exceeded. In addition, this role partners with functional and agency leadership to manage and grow the agency’s roster of trusted, innovative and efficient vendor and freelance partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS 

• Partners with ELT and functional leaders to establish and manage policies and procedures to meet resourcing and partner goals and drive efficiency.
• Responsible for the management of agency-wide day-to-day project and team resourcing health.   
• Manages the utilization of agency project and team time to ensure budget and profitability targets are met.
• Proactively identifies potential resourcing needs, risks and problem solves for bandwidth optimization.
• Partners with project management and functional leads to ensures data integrity for real-time resourcing.
• Produces and delivers accurate resources forecasting, reporting and tracking views.
• Responsible for the management of agency-wide vendor partner and freelance roster relationship health.  
• Partners with agency leadership and functional leads to identify and manage appropriate new vendor partner relationships.
• Partners with Operations leadership to negotiate for efficiencies at scale and works independently on project-based estimating efforts.
• Enters and maintains freelance and vendor partner inputs in agency systems to ensure seamless use/staff augmentation as required.
• Contributes to additional operations efforts as assigned.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to determine root cause of issues and recommend innovative solutions.
• Resourceful self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and team-centric work philosophy.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

• 8+ years of agency resourcing, project or program management with resource management accountability 
• Bachelor's degree is required   
• Experience with resources management software platform(s) is required
